3rd-Party Event Management Integration: Avenue Event Group uses a third-party event management platform called Tripleseat. However, this system was not integrated with their accounting software, QuickBooks Online. This resulted in payments being recorded in Tripleseat without the invoices being reflected in QuickBooks.
Manual Invoice Entry: Invoices had historically been manually entered into QuickBooks on a daily basis in order to match the event management platform. This process was not only time-consuming, it created a lag between when data was shown in Tripleseat and QuickBooks, while also being prone to errors, especially when matching invoices with payments processed through Stripe.

The lack of automation led to duplicated efforts in entering and matching financial data across multiple platforms. This consumed valuable time across the team and increased the risk of discrepancies and errors.
